Happy Friday!
Normally I like to pop in here on Fridays and share what I’m reading, but if I told you I read anything this week, I would be lying to you.
A few of my friends have been telling me for about a year that I need to start watching Poldark, but I didn’t listen to them. That is, until last weekend. And I can’t do anything else except watch it. I have done nothing but eat, sleep, work… and watch Poldark. If you haven’t given it a try, I am serious when I say DO NOT DELAY. Especially if you have an inconsolable Downton Abbey void. This one helps with the pain. Promise. (You can find the first two seasons on Amazon Prime, and if you live in the US, season 3 starts this Sunday on PBS.)
Even though I haven’t finished any books this week, I am technically in the middle of reading a few books: The Reformation by Stephen J Nichols and Women of The Word by Jen Wilkin. I’ll report back when I’ve gotten a little further into those.
I’m really excited because this Sunday the newest Sarah M Eden novel comes out. I have a weakness for clean and funny Regency fiction, and there are few authors more delightful than Ms Eden. Her new release is called For Love or Honor, and it’s the latest installment in the Jonquil Brothers series. If you love Jane Austen, you are sure to love Sarah M Eden.
We finally have fall weather back in Michigan, and it’s giving me life! I was really feeling burnt out by that heat wave we recently had. I am so not a summer person. I love cooler weather and I love having my windows open.
I’m really looking forward to this weekend! It’s going to be a busy one but a fun one. Most of all, I am looking forward to getting a massage (thanks to my sweet husband) and having a movie night with some of my girlfriends.
What are you looking forward to this weekend? Leave me a comment below! Have a great weekend.

I Love POLDARK! I think I like it better than Downton Abbey. My favourite seasons are Fall and Spring. The cool breezes make me thirsty for tea and books. The winter is okay, but totally not a summer person.

Yay, I’ve found another fellow Poldark fan!! I don’t quite know if I like it BETTER than Downton Abbey yet, but oh, it is a close second for sure!
