Well hey there! It’s been awhile since I’ve had the pleasure of doing a Friday Favorites post. I love these because they allow me to share what’s going on in my life in a more informal way.
So what’s new this week? Well, I finished reading my first Anne Bronte, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. A friend of mine recommended it, and I’m glad I followed her suggestion! I couldn’t put it down, and I was surprised at how much easier Anne Bronte is to read than her sister Charlotte. (But I LOVE Charlotte, and her books are worth the effort.)
I also am completely captivated by When God Doesn’t Fix It by Laura Story. I started it on Wednesday and I’m almost done with it. So beautifully written and very, very encouraging. In fact it made me cry last night. Thank you, Laura.
In other news, 10 Books to Read if You Love Jane Austen has officially received more than 1300 repins on Pinterest, and I am overwhelmed. I truly believe this is not because of anything spectacular that I’ve done; rather, it simply goes to show that the world loves Jane Austen. And rightly so – her books are the bomb. I’ve got another list in the works for you folks very soon!
I’ve added a couple of delightful little printables to my Etsy shop for those of you who want to see your love of literature and your love of fall intertwined. Yay for Gatsby & Green Gables! Check them out here and here.
Also, had my first PSL of the season yesterday. I tried it with almond milk, and I was not disappointed. I’m one of those people who gets excited about fall because PUMPKIN EVERYTHING. And I’m not ashamed.
