Wow, what a week it has been! I mean, honestly. This was one of those weeks when I got to Tuesday evening and was already completely wiped out (not to mention ready for bed by 8:00 pm). Please tell me I’m not the only one!
This week I read The Magnolia Story by Chip & Joanna Gaines. To be honest with you, up until this week I had only ever seen one episode of Fixer Upper! I have just been on such a kick with watching period dramas on Netflix or Amazon Prime, and I haven’t been in the mood for that type of show. However, on Sunday evening my husband’s grandma suggested I read The Magnolia Story and she let me borrow her copy. I have to say, I loved it so much! And now that my husband and I actually have cable, I can start watching their show on HGTV! My plan is to start from season one and work my way through to the current season.
Do you use essential oils? I’ve been running low on some of my favorites, so I made a trip to the vitamin store to stock back up. I love to diffuse a blend of lemon, lavender & peppermint. It’s great for allergies, too!
Last week I picked up the perfect utility vest from Target! It was only $29.99 and I’ve worn it almost every day since I bought it. (Did I just admit that?!)
Okay, what’s with this new unicorn drink at Starbucks? Is it any good?! I have a hard time swaying from my usual coconut latte. I guess I don’t like change. Or super sweet drinks.
Last weekend I finally took some time to get some design ideas out of my head that had been sitting there for way too long! I added four new designs to my Etsy Shop. If you love Jane Eyre or Jane Austen, I hope you will love these new printables as much as I do!
Last but NOT least, on Wednesday evening my husband was sitting next to me on the couch and pulled up the newest Pirates of the Caribbean trailer. While watching it (I was distracted with a book), he suddenly says, “She IS in this movie!” Knowing that he was referring to Keira Knightley – whom I adore above all other actors or actresses – I shot him a look. “No, she’s not. It’s impossible!” So he backed it up and played it over again, and to my astonishment, he was right! I l seriously spent the next 10 minutes freaking out for a few reasons: First, as I said, I just love that girl. She is so elegant and pretty and talented. Secondly, the last movie was such a disappointment. And thirdly, I can’t wait to see how Will & Elizabeth are doing after that crazy/emotional ending of the third movie!
Do you have an actor or actress that you just LOVE?! Or is it just me? Also, are you looking forward to the new Pirates, or are you just over it at this point?
Have a great weekend, friends! ❤
