As a blogger and a graphic designer, I am always trying to come up with ways to improve my blog’s overall look and feel (including my social media sites). I thought the perfect way to spruce my site up would be to have some professional pictures taken! It had been about 4 years since I had blog photos done, so I was way overdue.

I have several friends who are amazing photographers, so it was really hard to pick just one to do the job! I ended up going with my sweet friend Mary at Mary Baj Photography, and I love how the photos turned out!  After getting my makeup done at Bare Minerals in the morning, I headed home to do my hair and finish getting ready for the shoot. We spent almost an entire day shooting in my home office, my living room, my kitchen, a little local downtown area, the lake and lastly a coffee shop.
