Today I was talking with a dear friend about how, no matter what we’re going through, we are not to view ourselves as victims. She said to me something along the lines of, “We are not victims. We are victors because of Christ. It is about him, not about our suffering.”
Yes!
And, after our conversation, I began to wonder and almost worry: Have I conveyed that completely in each blog I post about difficult times and the things I’m going through?
Just incase…let me be clear:
I am not a victim. I am a VICTOR. And only through Christ and what he did for me on the Cross.
Life’s gonna knock me down.
It’s not gonna keep me down.
I’m gonna trust You now, in every season.
I know You’re here.
I know You’re for me.
I know that joy comes in the morning.
God, I believe it now.
God, I believe You now.

my blog is called “Stranger Than Fiction-Life Stories”
http;//cindyhfrench.com I think or you may have to add the s. My life has been so strange and crazy that no one really believes that I have had all the things happen to me that have happened to me! But God has been working on me for a long time and it took all those things to bring me to where I am now.
Not finished, but a whole lot better than where I was.
Jennifer N. Buczynski says
Yes I blog too 🙂 I just followed you, so you should be able to get to the blog, but if not, it’s jenniferbuczynski.wordpress.com !
Jennifer N. Buczynski says
Oh, and I blog about God speaking to me, how and what He says, and random topics about the Lord and His word!
mymansrib says
Yes indeed.
Jesus is our victorious Victor. All because of who He is, we can come out of the dark. Win. Gloriously and to glorify Him. No victims.
Jennifer,, your blog is a well written epistle of an intimate love relationship with the Victor. It testifies of His greatness and your responsiveness to Him and His greatness.
And…
I love it!!!
Ps to all: Let us focus more-yet-more on Him. God-awareness based on Truth. The Word of the Lord. Genesis to the Revelation. He is not just our means to self-awareness, except that awareness be lost in Him.
Awareness of Him leads to responsiveness to His greatness. His holiness. His love.
Responsiveness to God is proven in specific, detailed acts of obedience. This blog chronicles an accurate and well-thinking journey further up and further in.
And I will speak as one who walks with, this little darling is real.
Keep going my dear one.
